The B.C.-based Automotive Retailers Association (ARA) is presenting a webinar hosted by AutoCareersBC March 25 entitled ‘Why work for an independent shop?’

The free webinar goes at 11:00 a.m. PT and is focused on providing information on the benefits of working for an independent.

This virtual event features guest speaker Jeff Tremblay, manager of the Garage in Burnaby, B.C., who will outline the benefits of working for an independent shop: access to ongoing education, opportunities to get creative with repairs, and chances to work on your own car plus wholesale part purchasing to name a few.

For a young automotive technician, there are many options available to them but in this webinar, AutoCareersBC will discuss why choosing to work for a small, independent shop is the best option.

Following the discussion, the conversation will be open to attendees to ask questions about the automotive industry.
