Schaeffler Addresses Growing Aftermarket Complexity

As vehicle systems become increasingly complex and vehicle fleets grow more diverse, aftermarket professionals need comprehensive parts coverage and streamlined access to the right repair solutions.

At AAPEX 2026, Schaeffler’s Vehicle Lifetime Solutions division will demonstrate how the company is responding to these challenges through a more unified brand identity and an expanded aftermarket portfolio.

For distributors and repair professionals, Schaeffler’s ONE Brand, ONE Portfolio and ONE Service Experience approach brings its established product brands and technical capabilities under a more unified identity. The company aims to serve as a trusted technology partner, making its aftermarket offering easier to navigate while providing the products and support needed for increasingly sophisticated repairs.

“As vehicle technologies continue to evolve, aftermarket customers require comprehensive solutions supported by strong technical expertise,” said Micah Shepard, President Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions Americas.

“Our unified approach brings together Schaeffler’s established brands and expanding aftermarket capabilities to help distributors and repair professionals navigate complexity and meet changing market demands.”

As part of its recently announced initiative, the company will bring its product brands together under one strong Schaeffler brand. The phased transition is designed to simplify product identification, provide clearer access to its comprehensive aftermarket portfolio and create a more consistent customer experience, while preserving the recognition and trust associated with its established OEM-quality product brands.

At AAPEX, Schaeffler will showcase its redesigned bearings packaging ahead of the phased rollout beginning in 2027. The existing product brand names will remain visible on packaging and components, while product quality, technical specifications, part numbers and business processes will remain unchanged.

As vehicle electronics become more sophisticated and powertrain technologies continue to diversify, repair professionals face increasingly complex service requirements. Schaeffler’s integrated portfolio combines its original-equipment expertise with aftermarket repair solutions for internal combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles, providing broad product coverage through one technology partner.

Schaeffler continues to expand its aftermarket electronics portfolio through the integration of Vitesco Technologies, increasing its engine management and electronic control systems expertise. At AAPEX, it will showcase electronic throttle controls that optimize engine airflow and performance.

In transmissions, the company is expanding application coverage for its TorCon line. This includes the recently introduced 8L90 TorCon, part of its lineup of 100% new, never-remanufactured torque converters that provide repair professionals with additional OE-quality replacement options.

The engine systems portfolio on display will include front-end accessory drive (FEAD), timing chain and belt, thermal management and variable valve timing solutions. The company is also highlighting its E-Axle RepSystem 2in1 bearing repair kit, which enables targeted bearing repairs within electric drive units as an alternative to replacing larger assemblies.

Schaeffler’s ONE Service Experience extends beyond its product portfolio, equipping local aftermarket professionals with practical technical knowledge and resources. Through its REPXPERT platform, the company provides access to application-specific repair information, installation guidance and technical training. These resources help technicians identify appropriate repair procedures, understand product applications and address installation challenges. By connecting its product expertise with hands-on technical support, Schaeffler helps technicians confidently apply the right solutions in their daily repair work.

Beyond these featured offerings, Schaeffler will highlight its established aftermarket solutions across chassis, engine and electrified powertrain systems, reinforcing its role as a technology partner for distributors and repair professionals.

Attendees can visit Schaeffler at booth F13605 during AAPEX 2026, Nov. 3-5, at the AAPEX Forum in Las Vegas.
