The Ontario Tire Dealers Association (OTDA) has launched a new Tire Recycling in Ontario resource page on its website, bringing together key information and resources to help tire dealers and other industry stakeholders better understand Ontario’s tire recycling system and the challenges facing the sector.

The new resource page provides a central location for information on Ontario’s regulatory framework for tire recycling, including the roles and responsibilities of the various organizations involved in the system.

The page will also include updates and information surrounding ongoing collection challenges, tire recycling fees, and other issues affecting tire dealers and the broader tire industry.

The OTDA says the page is intended to provide greater clarity around a complex and evolving issue while keeping industry stakeholders informed about developments in Ontario’s tire recycling system.
