The NAPA EXPO scheduled to take place April 6 to 9 in Las Vegas, has been postponed over concerns related to COVID-19.

The global event, held once every five years, was expected to attract some 20,000 attendees from around the globe.

In a statement released announcing the postponement, Kevin Herron, President, US Automotive Parts Group said:

“Unfortunately, due to the rapidly evolving situation related to the coronavirus (COVID-19), including health and safety risks and travel bans for many attendees, we have taken precautionary steps and will be postponing the NAPA EXPO.  We do expect to reschedule the event for a later date.

This has been a difficult decision, as much planning and effort has gone into making this an incredible event for you.  We were excited to have the entire NAPA family together with over 20,000 people from 10 countries gathered in one place for the first time.  However, our highest priority is the health and safety of our customers, employees, supplier partners, and all who planned to attend this event.

We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and will provide you with new EXPO dates as well as any other relevant updates as soon as possible.  We want to emphasize that your current registration package will still be valid for the rescheduled event.

The organization said that word of the rescheduling will be forthcoming as the teams work through the logistics of the event.
