Gray Tools Canada Inc. has announced the launch of a new division designed to serve the specific needs of the automotive and heavy truck aftermarket.
Having served the industrial channel for over 106 years the company will leverage its tool knowledge, operational and service expertise to the new channel, under its well-established brands Gray and Dynamic.
Newly appointed Vice President of Sales, Jody Fildey, who brings thirty years of experience serving the industry, will head the division. According to Gary Nuttall, President of Gray Tools, “Our expansion into the automotive and heavy truck aftermarket is a strategic fit, and part of our medium-term business plan. The addition of Jody to our executive team allows us to greatly advance our pursuit of this strategy. Adding a highly respected and knowledgeable executive will allow us to provide the unmatched level of service and support Gray Tools is known for to our new channel partners.”
“Bringing my experience to a 106-year old Canadian company like Gray Tools and trying to re-establish it within the channel is exactly the challenge I thrive upon. The iconic Gray brand together with operational excellences such as a manufacturing facility in Brampton and warehouse locations in ON, BC and AB will be key differentiators in the hand tool space within the automotive and heavy truck aftermarkets,” declared Jody Fildey.
In addition to adding a V.P. of Sales, Grant Brother Sales has been appointed as the national sales agency serving the automotive and heavy truck aftermarkets. According to Grant Brothers President, Adam Crisp, “Partnering with Gray Tools across Canada to represent their Dynamic and Gray hand tool brands was an excellent strategic fit for us. These multiple price point brands together with the Gray Tool Company’s focus on service and commitment to the Canadian market are exactly what we seek when evaluating opportunities.”
