Free ASE Tech Webinar: DEF and Coolants

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar for service technicians on Tuesday, April 25 at 4:00 p.m. ET entitled “A Fluid Discussion on DEF and Coolants.”

Joseph Long of Old World Industries will provide detailed information on Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) and today’s coolants. Discussion points include:

  • DEF characteristics
  • How a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) catalyst works
  • Simple shop test procedures for DEF
  • The evolution of coolants
  • Factory fill and colors
  • Shop testing procedures
  • How Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) coolants will be different

After registering, a confirmation email will be sent containing information about joining the webinar.
