Eccles Auto Service in Dundas, Ont., has been named by the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce as a nominee for the 2018 Outstanding Business Achievement Awards presented by RBC Royal Bank.
Awarded to Small, Medium, and Large Business of the Year categories, these awards will be presented to a profit-centred private business organization, whose business achievement made an outstanding contribution to Hamilton in 2018.
Eccles Auto was nominated in the Medium Business category for organizations with 10 to 50 employees.
The shortlist achievement comes after many nominations for Eccles Auto, which is recognized in Canada’s aftermarket as a example of excellence in technical competence, business acumen, and industry and community involvement.
Scott Eccles, Bruce’s son, recently took over the business and they company is poised to open in a new, renovated location.
Also nominated in the same category is CARSTAR – The LC Group, which means two of three mid-sized busiinesses nominated are from the automotive aftermarket, although in different sectors.
The winners in each category will be announced at a gala dinner on March 26th, 2019 at Carmen’s Banquet Centre. Tickets are now available at www.hamiltonchamber.ca
The Outstanding Business Achievement Awards will also honour the Hamilton TigerCats with the Accessibility and Century Award for creating an accessible work environment and valuing the contribution of persons with disabilities, and their contributions to the community for over 100 years.
