NASCAR Pinty’s Series driver Simon Dion-Viens and the SDV Autosport racing team has announced that it has renewed its Castrol sponsorship for three years.
This agreement will allow the Simon to run a minimum of 4 races per season in the competitive NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
“I have worked with Castrol Canada since I started my racing career, over 15 years ago. It’s always been a pleasure for me to collaborate with them. Over the years, we created an excellent relationship, and a winning partnership focused on the Quebec market. They’re as passionate as I am about racing and I am very proud that I can count on their support.”
“I had the opportunity to win three Quebec GT championships in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and a Canadian Super Car championship in 2013, using their synthetic motor oil and their ancillary product line. As I am a mechanic myself, I’m in a good position to know that choosing the right engine oil is essential to ensure optimized performance and excellent reliability. For 2019, I’m very glad to renew our partnership for another three years,” explains the driver of NASCAR Pinty’s Series.
“Castrol Canada has partnered with several other racing teams throughout Canada and we have always ensured that we have a strong presence in the eastern Canadian market. We understand the importance of having a high level of visibility in the province of Quebec and in the Maritimes. Simon has used our products since the beginning of his racing career. As he knows and trusts our products, we are proud to have him as our Ambassador both while racing and at our customer events” said Natalee Davis, Sponsorship Manager of Castrol Canada.
“I want to sincerely thank Castrol Canada and all the others companies that are supporting me in my NASCAR racing program. I’ve been involved in car racing for the past fifteen years and I am very proud to have the support and the trust of these excellent partners”, continues Dion–Viens.
Simon Dion–Viens also wants to thank his main partners: Castrol Canada, Bestbuy Distributors, Pièces d’auto Rive-Sud, Olivier Kamouraska Chrysler, the GP3R, as well as Entreprises Rémi Charest, KOMSTK Wrap/design, Construction Luc Moreau and graphic designer Jerry Hall.
The driver of Castrol Canada’s Dodge 37 will be announcing his racing schedule for 2019 season shortly. In addition, other important collaborations will be announced in the coming weeks.
