To help curb the spread of COVID-19, the Automotive Retailers Association is postponing future events planned between now and August.

The organization was scheduled to host a Automotive Women’s event April 30, among other activities over the coming months.

“Although we are disappointed, everyone’s health is of critical importance. The ARA’s priority is to keep our members, staff, and the public safe,” said the association.

“In uncertain times, it is more important than ever to come together and support your association that is working to advocate on your behalf. Let’s remain optimistic that our efforts will go the distance to mitigating risk and soon enough we will return to working order. In the meantime, the ARA will continue working on ways for the automotive industry to ignite the engine of a vibrant B.C. economy.”
