Automotive Parts Distributors of Edmonton’s Training Division recently held its first RPM Training SMART three day course for service managers to very positive reviews.

Zara Wishloff, vice president sales and marketing for Automotive Parts Distributors (APD), reports that the sold out course attracted clients from as far away as Calgary, Lloydminster, and Fort McMurray to the APD Edmonton training facility for the course. The three day training course, led by the noted trainer, consultant, and Indie Garage contributor Murray Voth, promises a gain of 0.5 of a billed our per technician per day for shops that implement even just one of the key chapters.

“APD gives away a prize at every clinic we do,” said Wishloff. “We usually have technical clinics and give away a composite impact [wrench] as our thank you for technicians who work all day and come to training at night. For this course we gave away a bottle of APD private label “coffee octane” which is a rum based Bailey’s drink from a local distillery. Jessica Tollenar of Fort McMurry was the winner.”
