The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar for service technicians on Thursday, Sept. 16 at 4:00 p.m. ET entitled “Engine Performance Diagnostic Strategies.”

This webinar covers ways to become more proficient in interpreting the information scan tools provide for engine performance diagnostics. John Dixon with Garage Gurus will show how to use scan tool information to gain direction as the shortest and quickest path to get a problem vehicle accurately diagnosed.

Because putting all the pieces together during an engine diagnostic is a lot like reading a road map, the key to success is finding the shortest path to the destination without getting lost.

Multiple vehicle case studies will be reviewed demonstrating important PID relationships through use of the graphing functions within the scan tool.

After registering, a confirmation email will be sent containing information about joining the webinar.

Those who are not sure if they can attend are encouraged to register as they will receive a follow-up email with details on how to attend a recorded session, if available.
