The Automotive Aftermarket Retailers of Ontario (AARO), in conjunction with Auto Aide Technical Services, is sponsoring a webinar for technicians who need to obtain their ozone depletion certification (ODP).

This certification is required for those who handle or purchase refrigerants in Ontario.

Technicians may choose from two different webinar times: Wednesday May 3 2023 at 1:00 pm or Saturday May 6 2023 at 9:00 am.

The cost is $275 per technician.

This environmental awareness training program, based on Environment Canada’s “Code of Practice for Elimination of Fluorocarbon Emissions in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems”, deals with environmentally correct equipment design, proper handling of refrigerants, and will prepare participants for complying with Federal and Provincial Regulations covering refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Those who require the ODP/ODS Certification for the purchasing and/or handling of refrigerants throughout Canada, to fulfill provincial and federal regulations.
