AARO Symposium & Trade Show goes Saturday, Jan. 19

The Automotive Aftermarket Retailers of Ontario is hosting its annual Symposium & Trade Show in Oakville, Ont. January 19, 2019.

AARO has announced a solid line-up of speakers at the one-day Symposium.

Donny Seyfer – Executive Officer at National Automotive Service Task Force (NASTF) Seyfer’s topic of discussion will be NASTF, VSP (Vehicle Security Professional).

How the new program applies to the Ontario market, changes to these programs, and some of the ins and outs about how these programs work.

Also scheduled to speak on this subject are John Cochrane (President of Cochrane Automotive and founder of Lindertech Training) and Mark Lemay (Renowned trainer and president of Auto Aide).

Craig Van Batenburg – CEO at AC/DC Hybrid EV Training Resources Topics will include:

Hybrid diagnosis for every shop, details of what maintenance needs hybrid and electric vehicles actually require when they are driven in the real world. (Craig has a fleet of about 14 different hybrid and electric vehicles as old as 2001 at his training center in Massachusetts).

Craig will have a couple of electric vehicles on site for hands on discussion and demonstration purposes.

A Trade Show accompanies the Symposium presentations. Last year, more than a dozen suppliers were available to answer questions about parts and programs.
