Mister Transmission welcomed franchisees, suppliers and industry partners to its 37th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, held north of Toronto in early June. Over nearly four decades, the event has grown into one of the Canadian aftermarket’s most respected corporate gatherings, combining networking and camaraderie with a commitment to supporting local communities.

Tony Kuczynski, President, North America, for Moran Family of Brands, said the tournament continues to deliver value on multiple levels, bringing together key stakeholders while raising funds for the Mister Transmission Charitable Foundation.

“We really appreciate all the people who came out—our vendors, sponsors and franchisees,” said Kuczynski. “Of course, the event raises money for our charity, which supports children and youth in our local communities from a health, hardship, education and community perspective. It’s become a wonderful tradition, and we’re grateful for the continued support that allows us to keep doing this important work.”

Kuczynski noted that the event has become a fixture on the company calendar, providing a welcome opportunity for attendees to connect outside of the day-to-day demands of business.

“It’s also a great chance to get out, have some fun and enjoy the day with coworkers, colleagues and friends from across the industry,” he said.

The tournament comes as Mister Transmission continues to integrate into Moran Family of Brands following its acquisition. Kuczynski said the transition has included some organizational changes and adjustments in responsibilities, but overall the process has been progressing smoothly.

During the event, Kuczynski also highlighted the work of the Mister Transmission Charitable Foundation, which remains the primary beneficiary of the tournament’s fundraising efforts.

“The Mister Transmission Charitable Foundation supports children and youth in our local communities,” he said. “We provide annual sponsorships, support breakfast programs and participate in a variety of initiatives that help young people and families facing challenges in the communities where we operate.”

With strong attendance and ongoing support from across the aftermarket, the annual tournament continues to reinforce Mister Transmission’s commitment to both industry relationships and community involvement.

Attendees enjoyed golf following by some great coversation, and a few prize giveaways, over lunch.
