Building on the tremendous success and growing demand for its Tech Tip Thursday sessions, Delphi, a brand of PHINIA Inc., is excited to announce the continuation of the program under the Delphi Academy banner for 2026.

Beginning February 12, 2026, these free, live, instructor-led virtual trainings are delivering practical, real-world diagnostic insights to technicians, shop owners, and passionate DIYers across the aftermarket.

As vehicle technology evolves at an unprecedented pace, technicians need accessible, high-quality education that keeps them up to speed. Delphi Academy’s Tech Tip Thursdays are designed to do exactly that—offering hands-on strategies, proven diagnostic methods, and the opportunity to learn directly from Delphi’s own professional training team.

“Today’s vehicles are more advanced than ever, and technicians need training that’s relevant, digestible, and immediately applicable in the shop,” said Justin Shaffer, Technical Training Manager, North America. “Delphi Academy exists to meet that need—delivering knowledge that helps technicians work smarter, boost confidence, and increase efficiency.”

2026 Training Series Highlights

The 2026 program kicks off with an Advanced Diagnostics series, offering deeper system comprehension and practical troubleshooting techniques technicians can put to use right away.

Featured sessions include:

• J1939 Controller Area Network Diagnostics
A clear, technician-focused overview of J1939 CAN networks used in on-road truck applications. Attendees will learn network architecture, message structures, common failure points, and effective diagnostic strategies that reduce guesswork and downtime.

• Diesel NOx Control Strategies
A comprehensive look at both in-cylinder and aftertreatment emissions control technologies. This session strengthens understanding of key diesel NOx systems and equips technicians with actionable steps for diagnosing performance and emissions-related issues.

Attendees gain access to:

  • Live technical instruction from Delphi’s in-house training professionals
  • Real-world diagnostic techniques they can immediately apply
  • Training relevant to today’s high-tech vehicle systems
  • A no-cost way to develop professionally and build confidence
  • Content suitable for technicians, shop owners, and DIYers alike

Technicians will be able to refine their diagnostic skill set, stay ahead of vehicle technology trends, or grow their shop’s capabilities. Delphi Academy’s Tech Tip Thursdays make high-value training accessible to everyone in the aftermarket.
